Shipping & Returns
All parcels will be shipped in standard satchel via Australia Post from our Melbourne-based studio. If you need something shipped express, please contact us.
We will send a confirmation email after payment is made. We pack and ship your order within 2-3 business days, except for when your order is received on a public holiday or weekend, where it will be processed the following business day. Once we have sent your order, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

Australia Post Estimated Shipping Time:
AUSTRALIA - 2 or more business days (please allow an additional 2-3 business days for WA, NT or rural postcodes)
NEW ZEALAND - 3 or more business days
INTERNATIONAL - 2-10 business days
All orders are displayed and processed in AUD. We offer $35AUD flat rate international shipping fee. When your order reaches it's destination, Crafted Matter does not have any authority or control on any customs duties or import tax charged. These additional charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
You have a total of 20 calendar days after purchase to change your mind. If you decide to return your purchase, make sure to let us know and send it back before the 20 day period, sadly after 20 days it will not be accepted. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened, undamaged and in the saleable condition that you received it.
To initiate a return, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. Please include your original order number, as well as specifying which item/s you are returning. Once your email request has been submitted, pack your item in any suitable packaging to get it back safely. We will not be covering any return fees.
When we have received the item and inspected it, we’ll send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Once approved, the refund for your item/s will be processed and a credit will be applied to the original payment method. This process can take a few days, so please sit tight!
Lost or Undelivered
If your order is returned to us because of an insufficient or wrong address, we can resend the order to the correct address at the customer's expense. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
We do not accept any returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Cut lengths of fabric and haberdashery
- Clearance items
Goods are deemed faulty if they are received damaged or improperly manufactured. Items damaged as a result of improper use are not considered faulty. Goods deemed faulty are eligible for exchange of the exact product that was originally ordered. If you have received a faulty item, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can make it right.
